Taken whilst out walking last Sunday morning along the Liffey valley between Lucan and Leixlip. These guys were canoeing around one of the weirs. The water is forced through a narrow channel and this guy was riding the current:

Cool - looks like fun. However, the prospect of having Liffey water in my mouth is not very appealing.

@Lottie: It does look like great fun though. Reckon I’d put up with the water, it’s a lot better than it used to be.
