I was gonna write a post citing how this was an invasion of privacy. Then I realised what day it was. It’s Improv Everywhere at a funeral:
Damn these are impressive. Granted they’re wearing gloves for extra grip but….
Any of the nerds in the audience will spot exactly what’s wrong here. For those who haven’t got it yet, the item on the right hand side of the image is a Nintendo 64. That’s a gaming console released 12 years ago this month. Are RTE really that stuck for prizes?
Jason is arranging another Blogger-Twitter-Whatever (BTW) meetup on the 2nd of April. It’s always a good night so if you’re around Dublin on the night please stop by. It’s in the Porterhouse Central at 6pm on Thursday 2nd April. Head on over to Jason’s site to stick your name down.

I was at The Future of Web Apps conference in Dublin’s Liberty Hall yesterday. I met some really inspiring people and got to see some great talks. Personal highlights of the day included Eoghan and Des‘ talk on conventions and how they can hold true innovation back, Robin’s pitch for Decisions for Heroes (brilliant) and David Heinemeier Hansson‘s talk. The wifi was an issue but I presumed it would have been, Ryan’s aware of it for next year anyway. After the conference we made for Mulligans and then the official party in Dandelion. I couldn’t stay too late as the kids were playing this morning but it was a great day/night and I’m looking forward to FOWA returning next year.
