Have heard of him in passing before but I just read an article on the BBC about a recent appearance he made in New Hampshire. For the uninitiated Barak Obama is the great hope of the Democratic Party in the States for the next election. He’s only been a senator for two years but seems to be winding up as a serious challenger to Hillary Clinton as Democratic candidate in 2008. The guy seems genuine, intelligent and is aiming to bring America’s Blue and Red states back towards some kind of understanding. I’m going to pick up his new book over the next few days so when I’ve read it I’ll post a review. For now check out his apperance on the Daily Show:
Really looking forward to Hot Fuzz, the new film from the team behind ‘Shaun of the Dead‘. I’ve been tracking it since I heard about it six months ago and the full trailer came out this week so here it is on youtube:
