As mentioned in the piece, it’s reminiscent of the 2013 episode of Black Mirror entitled “Be Right Back”, so if you haven’t seen that it’s worth tracking down and watching. It’s hard to know how this type of thing will shape human psyche in future but we’re going to have to tread carefully.
