I’m not too sure what site brought this to my attention late last week but I haven’t had time to blog about it until now. Fbcal does a simple job very well. If your on Facebook then you’ll have noticied how it shows you upcoming birthdays for your contacts. It’d be handier if you could export that data and feed it into something like Google Calendar. That’s where Fbcal steps in.
You install it as an application through Facebook and it will give you a feed address that pops straight into Google Calendar (or any other iCal format calendar). This is one of the first genuinely useful Facebook apps that I’ve seen and will save me from manually imputting that data into Google Calendar. Handy.
