Pretty shocking stuff from the US. Are shootings on campus so routine that you wouldn’t lock down the university if there had just been a double murder? According to police they had no reason to believe that the gunman was still at large but it strikes me as strange to think that the rest of the university was supposed to go about their business as usual. American’s need to cop on to the fact that their “right to bear arms” was introduced in a time very different to the one we’re living in today. Its just a shame that 33 lives have suffered the ultimate consequence of the second amendment.
