It’s Zach Galifianakis and it’s damn funny mock interviews:
Friday Photo – Kevin Smith, Vicar St

Went along to Vicar St with Darren, Lottie and Fergal to see the legend that is Kevin Smith on Wednesday evening. I didn’t really know what to expect other than that he’d be talking about his life/career and answering questions from the audience. I’m struggling to even explain it now. I’ve re-written three different versions of a sentence but can’t quite sum it up. It was: hilarious, refreshingly honest, crazy and raucous. I’ll definitely be going back to see him when he comes back.
You’ve Got The Love (The XX Remix)
This? Excellent.
Away We Go

I’ve had the cinema ticket in my jacket pocket since last week. Kind of like a silent reminder to write this blog post so here it is. Away We Go is Sam Mendes’ latest and is his kookiest work to date in my opinion. Essentially it’s a road movie but different in that a couple (played by John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph), expecting their first child, are trying to find their place in the world. They visit friends and relatives (some crazier than others) in an attempt to find a base for their expanding family. The film works because of the two leads. Some movie couples work better than others and the relationship between Krasinski and Rudolph’s characters feels genuine. This film isn’t going to set the world alight but it’s funny and entertains for the length of its running time.
