I just unsubscribed from a partricular feed in my RSS reader, Bloglines. Why? Cos the dude kept talking about himself in the third person. He runs a popular SEO blog but it annoys me when people constantly refer to themselves in the third person. Anthony’s sure he’s not the only one. Bloggers beware.
Hot Fuzz

What a great film Hot Fuzz is. I should know after seeing it three times now.
If you liked Shaun of the Dead then you’ll really enjoy this as well. It exploits the same comic dynamic between Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to great effect. Spring break for Bertie and Co
Just reading on BreakingNews.ie that:
Ten government ministers are set to travel to the United States next week for St Patrick’s Day celebrations across the country.
Ten?! Did they get a group discount or something? They’re spending taxpayers money on some jaunt out to the States for a few pints.
What a load of cobblers. Plus:
Other cabinet ministers and junior ministers, as well as the Attorney General, will be travelling to places as far afield as India, China, Vietnam and Argentina.
I mean wtf? “Ah sure we’re only spreading the message that we’re a great aul country altogether”.
Banned Trocaire advert
The BCI ordered independent broadcasters to pull the TV and radio ads yesterday due to concerns that they breach regulations on political content.
BCI rules say adverts cannot have a political motive.
The TrĂ³caire ads are understood to have been pulled because the Lenten campaign includes a petition on the charity’s website urging the Government to implementation a UN resolution on gender inequality.
