What a fantastic film. Just finished watching it now. James McEvoy and Kiera Knightly are as good as you’ve come to expect in any film which bears their names. The famous steadicam shot is an astonishing achievement considering the length and complexity involved. Having not seen Joe Wright’s version of Pride & Prejudice, I’m going to seek it out. I’d be suprised if this doesn’t win Oscars.

I absolutely loved this film too, though after the first ten minutes I nearly felt like walking it. Then it started grabbing me more and more until, in the end, it nearly strangled me. Yes, superb steadicam shot too.
